The Hulton Bridge Replacement, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, received the Grand Conceptor Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Pennsylvania’s 2017 Diamond Awards for Engineering Excellence. Also, Roads & Bridges magazine named the Hulton Bridge #7 on its Top 10 Bridges list for 2016. Additional awards for the bridge include the Eugene C. Figg, Jr. Medal from the International Bridge Conference; Award of Merit from ENR MidAtlantic in its Best Projects of 2016 competition; Outstanding Highway Engineering Award from the American Society of Highway Engineers, Pittsburgh Section; Civil Engineering Achievement Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers, Pittsburgh Section; Outstanding New Major Bridge Award from the Association for Bridge, Construction, and Design, Pittsburgh Chapter; and Transportation Project of the Year in the March of Dimes Transportation, Building, and Construction Awards.
The C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir in Hillsborough County, Florida, received an Honor Award in the national ACEC 2017 Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition. Also, the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers recognized the project with a Grand Award in its 2017 EEA program.
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s Central Services Facility was recognized with an Honor Award-Large Project in the ACEC New Jersey 2017 EEA competition. The facility is located in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
The Advanced Wastewater Filtration System project in Upton, New York, received a Gold Award in ACEC New York’s 2017 EEA competition.
The PHX Sky Train® Bridge over Taxiway “R” at Arizona’s Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport received a 2016 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award from the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations.
The Towson Finished Water Reservoir replacement project in Baltimore, Maryland, earned a National Recognition Award in the ACEC 2016 Engineering Excellence Awards competition. Also, the Maryland Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers named the project a 2015 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award winner.
The Rehabilitation of the Gilboa Dam in Gilboa, New York, was honored with the Grand Award in the ACEC 2016 EEA competition. The Association of State Dam Safety Officials named it the 2015 National Rehabilitation Project of the Year, and ENR New York selected it as the 2015 Water/Environment Regional Best Project.
